Turtle Beach has proved that there are still more places to incorporate LCDs into the PC ecosystem with the Command Series MC7. From AIO blocks, sides of graphics cards, PSUs, and virtually any part of a chassis, there seems to be no end in sight for where an LCD screen can make an appearance, and now, with this premium-priced $160 mouse, you can have one right at the palm of your hand.
With 8K polling (via USB) and 0.125ms latency, the Command Series MC7 is designed to be ultra-responsive. Wireless options include Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, but it can also be used wired via USB. Up to 33 programmable functions can be assigned to its five profiles. The “Owl-Eye” optical sensor is rated from 50 to 30K DPI with 750 IPS tracking and up to 70g of acceleration, which Turtle Beach has said is consistent on most surfaces. Titan Switches are used with a lifespan of up to 150 million clicks. As impressive as these details may be, the main attraction for this mouse is its configurable 2.5-inch touchscreen display.

Touchscreen Features:
- Fine-tune DPI, profiles, macros, and app or OBS control without breaking focus.
- Track game performance data and build custom panels for games and apps, including audio controls, countdown timers, app launching, and real-time PC performance stats.
- Control your stream instantly with built-in OBS and Streamlabs integration, giving fast access to essential streaming functions without leaving the action.
- Manage Spotify, Discord, and other settings to perfectly balance game audio, chat, and music.

One question quickly comes to mind when adding display tech to a mouse, and that is, what about battery life? The Command MC7 comes with two 1000 mAh batteries, which are hot-swappable, and a charging dock. Turtle Beach reports up to 10 hours of use with the LCD enabled and up to 15 hours without. Pre-orders are now open, and Turtle Beach has said it expects to begin shipping on July 19.
