Lian Li and DAN Cases have once again partnered to create a mid-size offering, and this time around it’s the B4-mATX, which can be oriented either horizontally or vertically. Lian Li and DAN Cases previously developed the A3-mATX-26.3L in 2024, which provided PC enthusiasts with a relatively low-cost option for smaller builds while also supporting behemoth-sized graphics cards along with a multitude of cooling options. Now, on its 2nd anniversary, the two case manufacturers have collaborated to create the B4-mATX, a slightly smaller 21.3L chassis supporting a dual-orientation configuration.

“Build like never b4!”

Similar to their previous collaboration, this new case offers options for builders to use Mini ITX components such as smaller motherboards and PSUs or standard sizes. This time around, there are a few new design improvements, such as a rotatable power connector, a reversible rear fan bracket to provide more room inside the case, and the ability to build in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The B4-mATX also comes with 2x 120mm slim fans pre-installed and supports up to 1x 360mm AIO.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
