This year continues to be one of the best when it comes to new monitor launches and announcements, and Alienware adds to this with its AW3226Q and AW2527HX gaming displays. RGB Stripe Tandem OLED technology has been the talk of the industry with its ability to provide clearer text as well as more vibrant colors and a brighter display limit, sometimes perhaps too bright depending on your preference. Alienware’s latest gaming monitor additions take the form of a 32-inch 4K OLED 165 Hz for those with a bit more interest in detail, combined with a higher refresh rate, but also a 24.5-inch FHD 560 Hz QD-OLED designed for competitive gaming.
The AW3226Q uses an OLED panel featuring RGB Stripe Tandem technology. This new technology really is a game changer by improving the image with deeper black, improved brightness, colors, and clearer text. Unlike some other brands, which feature displays reaching up to and over 1,500 nits, the AW3226Q tops at 1,000 nits, is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, and supports Dolby Vision. It is factory calibrated to Delta E<2 color accuracy and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. VRR support includes NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync. Alienware has said the AW3226Q will have an MSRP of $699 and launch sometime this fall.

Next up is something that has primarily been designed for competitive first-person shooters and esports. The Alienware AW2527HZ 560Hz QD-OLED 1080p gaming display is Alienware’s first 560Hz model and has been made in collaboration with Team Liquid. The TN panel has a 0.03 GtG response time, is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, has a brightness of 1,500 nits, and is planned to launch in Q1 2027. Pricing has not yet been revealed.
