Calling the HKC Tianqi 43H180C an unusual beast is an understatement, but for those looking to boost productivity, it could be the perfect tool of the trade. At 43.8 inches, it already offers plenty of real estate, but what truly sets it apart is its ultrawide 4K 24:9 aspect ratio and 1000R curvature. While desktop gamers are more accustomed to typically just three aspect ratios- 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9- workstation solutions come in almost every imaginable shape, but the Tianqi 43H180C stands above most with its titan-esque design, which could perhaps sway those who may’ve already been using 49″ panels for work.
Per IT Home, HKC (Huichuang Technology) has not yet revealed pricing for the Tianqi 43H180C, but its specs are already accruing interest from around the globe. Using Mini-LED technology, its 5760×2160 resolution offers 1.5 times that of regular 4K, but offers a split-screen feature with 3840×2160 on one side and then 1920×2160 on the other. Those working on audio/video content creation are then offered a unique workflow via a single display. As someone who often works with multiple databases and browsers at the same time, it’s not difficult to imagine the advantageous opportunities available here either.
That’s not the end of the story, as the Tianqi 43H180C also features a 180Hz refresh rate, although good luck using it for gaming given its resolution, and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. HKC has wisely included DP 2.1 connectivity (version not stated, but should be full bandwidth), USB Type-C supporting up to 96W PD, KVM support, and OSD control. Brightness levels or HDR support were not mentioned in the announcement.

Last time I looked at a pre launch monitor happened to be from msi, got excited enough to save money and wait, it never launched, waited over a year, nada, i got whatever Dell ( in fairness a decent one)
Too true and even though I'd really like something for the office, not likely to happen either but still, a man can dream.
