Today we were able to put the ASRock B850M Pro RS motherboard on our test bench. We ran into no issues with physical installation other than the odd placement of a 4-pin fan connector behind the M2_1 slot, an the UEFI updated without an issue. Windows 11 had a seamless installation and updating both the operating system and all drivers went without a hitch. Performance matched what we have seen in other mATX motherboards, as does its features with a total of three (3) M.2 NVMe slots and a fourth for a Key-E device. The biggest failing is cooling that left us wanting, though at the ~$150 price tag, this motherboard fullfills its goal.
