It appears that Samsung is already making excellent use of AMD’s Radeon graphics IP, which the company managed to license back in June 2019. Leaked benchmark scores for an RDNA-infused Exynos SoC from Korea’s Clien forums (via HotHardware) has revealed some remarkable performance, even when compared to leading mobile GPUs such as Qualcomm’s Adreno 650 (Snapdragon 865). Here’s how they compare:

If these numbers are correct, Samsung’s future Galaxy phones could deliver nearly triple the graphics performance of its predecessors. While there are alleged issues with power consumption, the final version could be even more powerful than Apple’s upcoming A14.
“It is said that it is being tested with the Samsung Exynos combination,” wrote the leaker. “The target performance of the current development is said to be Apple’s next-generation A14. Added (Performance target can be increased according to the development schedule.)”
