VideoCardz has shared the first image of ASUS’ TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. While NVIDIA hasn’t officially announced this new branch of Ampere yet (it’s expected to do so during CES 2021), what we do already know is that this particular GPU will feature somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,584 CUDA Cores—around 1,280 less than its stronger, Titanium-infused sibling. Contrastingly, this model features 12 GB of GDDR6 memory, which is 4 GB more than the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
“It is alleged that the RTX 3060 12GB will have a different GPU variant than previously reported,” VideoCardz noted. “Basically, the GA106-400 SKU has been replaced with GA106-300, which means that both RTX 3060 12GB and ‘rumored’ RTX 3060 6GB would now offer the same specifications. The 6GB version has been delayed, in fact, some sources claim it might even be canceled.”
