SAPPHIRE has officially launched its TOXIC AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT limited edition graphics card. The news was confirmed in a press release published by the manufacturer today, which noted that the GPU represents the fastest Radeon RX 6900 XT variant on the market. This is largely owed to the TOXIC’s “unrivalled liquid cooling solution” for enabling low temperatures with powerful and stable clock speeds.
“The TOXIC AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Edition Graphics Card is equipped with the inventive TOXIC AIO Cooling Solution,” SAPPHIRE wrote in its press release. “This system is comprised of two major sections – the first section is an AIO cooler for GPU cooling, and the second section is a customized die-cast heatsink with two heatpipes for VRM and Memory Cooling.”
“To cool the GPU, the pump and heat spreader of the liquid cooling system on TOXIC effectively removes heat from the GPU to the 360mm radiator for heat exchange. The hot liquid is cooled in the radiator by three large 120mm fans and pushed back to the pump and heat spreader. This continuous circulation keeps the GPU temperature lower than 70°C and noise levels below 34 dBA. On the VRM and Memory cooling, the new hybrid fans below away the heat transferred by the die cast heatsink with heatpipes from the Memory and VRM Components.”
SAPPHIRE’s TOXIC AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT also features a one-click “TOXIC BOOST” setting that allows users to supercharge the limited edition graphics card’s clock settings with the push of a button. Other notable features include a new Hybrid Fan Blade design, a TriXX Boost options for maximizing frame rates, and an ARGB LED shroud/logo/backplate.
The press release for SAPPHIRE’s TOXIC AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT did not include a price, but a Newegg listing has revealed that the card will cost $1,639.99. You can check out the specifications for the GPU below, which is shipping now.
