The Callisto Protocol, a survival-horror game from Striking Distance Studios, is still launching this year, according to an investor’s presentation from Krafton. The studio has over 150 employees and is led by Dead Space and Call of Duty franchise veteran Glen Schofield. The game is set in a prison on one of Saturn’s moons. Fans of the genre will recognize stylings from Alien and Dead Space.

Today Striking Distance Studios and KRAFTON, Inc. unveiled The Callisto Protocol at The Game Awards with a new cinematic trailer. Created by the team behind the blockbuster survival horror franchise Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol is an all-new take on the genre and will ship for PC and consoles in 2022.
Set on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol is a next-generation take on survival horror. The game challenges players to escape the maximum security Black Iron Prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. A blend of horror, action, and immersive storytelling, the game aims to set a new bar for horror in interactive entertainment.
