We reviewed the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU Review, AMD's 12-core high-end desktop AM5 Zen 4 architecture based CPU at an MSRP of $499. It offers good performance, with an uplift mainly in single-thread performance and AVX workloads, but does not gain as much in multi-threading or lighter office type of workloads. It is a very efficient CPU, with a lower power draw, and runs cool loaded with features. It's value is hurt by the currently priced Ryzen 9 7900X, but over time, it should start to look more appealing.
