After 21 years, Frank Azor is moving on from the alien-themed, gaming-oriented PC company he helped create and manage. Azor posted a farewell message about his leave on July 3 for a “new challenge” and reminded fans of how far Alienware has come from its inception.

Azor did not specify where he would be going next, but one rumor claims that he has joined AMD as its Chief Gaming Officer. Wccftech says he’ll be reporting to Sandeep Chennakeshu, EVP of Computing and Graphics Business Group.
