Apple is now under investigation from the New York Department of Financial Services due reports that Apple Credit service may be using algorithms that might be exhibiting sexual bias against women. Apple’s co-founder has even chimed in on this. The tweet below is a conversation between Mr. Wozniak and David Hanson whom shared that he and his wife had a similar experience with David getting nearly 20x the credit limit of his wife. This despite the fact they file taxes jointly and live in a state where all assets are shared as reported by CBS News. Steve had stated the he received nearly 10x that of his wife even though they share all assets and accounts.

Apple launched it’s credit card back in August with Goldman Sachs. According to BBC News it is Goldman Sachs first credit card. Many sure to pay close attention as New York’s investigation into this

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
