It would seem the ghost of Y2K wanted to remind us that not all technology is still immune from clock bugs. In New York they had parking meters that stopped accepting credit cards on the new year. The New York Times reported that the meters software was configured to stop as of January 1st. Meanwhile at ACME laboratories another type of glitch occurred:

At least one game has also experienced its own 2K20 issue. Evidently WWE 2K20, from 2K Games, crashed as soon as the clock changed to the new year. SYFY Wire reported that players found a solution by setting their clocks back.

Has anyone else experienced their own 2K20 problem?

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
