Red Dead Redemption 2

In all the graphs to follow the lightest colored tan bar is showing our highest stable overclock.  The next lightest tan bar is showing the XFX video card with its new default performance BIOS applied, this is the new out-of-box experience.  The darkest colored tan bar shows the video card with its original performance before the BIOS was released.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 with “Ultra” settings the overclocking has improved performance to the point that the video card is now faster than the GeForce RTX 2060 FE by 3%.  Compared to the out-of-box performance with the new BIOS performance is 6%.  It’s now the second-fastest video card on the graph.

Lowering the game settings to “High” helps with performance quite a bit.  The overclocked performance is now 4% faster than the GeForce RTX 2060 FE.  It improves upon the out-of-box performance by 7%.  At this performance level, this game is very playable at 1080p with “High” settings on the overclocked XFX RX 5600 XT video card.
