During today’s Superbowl, Marvel fans were treated to a 30-second promo for what’s destined to be three of the most popular shows on Disney+: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki. We’ve seen all of these characters evolve on the big screen before, but as the TV spot shows, they have plenty of great adventures ahead of them regardless of the medium.

The trailer starts off with Falcon doing his best Captain America impression by throwing his shield into an innocent tree. Apparently, he’s just as adept as his predecessor and now has the same super strength (did he manage to get some of Steve’s serum?). Winter Soldier can also be seen confronting Baron Zemo, who we last saw in 2016’s Civil War. Yep, he still appears to be a baddie.

“Following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities — and their patience — in Marvel Studios’ ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.’”

As for WandaVision, classic sitcom fans should get a huge kick out it. An official synopsis suggests that Wanda and Vision are stuck in a black-and-white television comedy but don’t realize it (who’s pulling the strings?). The promo reveals that Scarlet Witch will finally don her classic red costume, pointy headpiece and all.

“Marvel Studios’ ‘WandaVision’ blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) — two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives — begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”

Unfortunately, Marvel only shared one very short clip for Loki. The eponymous trickster can be seen in some kind of prison outfit, but it isn’t clear where he is or what he’s up to aside from wanting to burn the place to the ground. Thor’s brother does have the Tesseract, so expect him to be doing a bit of traveling.

“In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ next year—2021.”

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is slated for release in August 2020, while Loki will debut in Spring 2021. WandaVision is expected some time this year.
