Passively cooled GPUs are an ideal choice for small form factor builds that can not only play demanding games, but stay silent while doing so. Palit has launched its latest solution for this niche market, the GeForce GTX 1650 KalmX. The card’s large, nickel-plated heat sink allows it to operate at 0 dB without fans.

Featuring 896 CUDA cores and a 1485/1665 MHz graphics/boost clock, the KalmX is up to 70 percent faster than the GeForce GTX 1050 and twice as powerful as the GTX 950. Memory wise, there’s 4 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 128 GB/s on a 128-bit interface.

With a board power of just 75 W, the card is also considerably more power efficient than older GPUs. Power is provided by the PCI-E 3.0 x 16 slot, so no external pin connector is necessary.

As for output, the GeForce GTX 1650 KalmX includes one HDMI 2.0b port and two DisplayPort 1.4a ports. The latter allows for a maximum resolution of 8K (7680 x 4320) at 60 Hz.

Do note that this GPU is longer than your average small form factor card. It measures 178 x 138 x 38 mm.
