We also snapped a few infrared pictures at idle, at regular clocks and at overclock clocks as you can see here. At idle, the center of the card gave us an 83 degrees Fahrenheit (28C) reading.
While gaming at stock clocks, that increased to 110.5 degrees Fahrenheit (38C) and the top exhaust of the card showed 175.9 degrees Fahrenheit (80C).
While overclocked, temperatures dropped slightly due to the higher fan speed configured (40% at stock, 80% while overclocked), yielding 108.1 degrees Fahrenheit (42.3C) and 165.1 degrees Fahrenheit (74C).
