Making Star Wars has learned that actor Michael Biehn, who played Kyle Reese in The Terminator, has won a role in Disney’s second season of The Mandalorian.

He’ll be playing a bounty hunter from Dyn Jarren’s (Mando’s) past, but it isn’t clear how significant his character will be to the overall narrative. Other guest stars, such as Bill Burr – who’s also returning for season two – only appeared in single episodes.

Aside from playing the father of John Connor, Biehn is also known for his role as Corporal Hicks in James Cameron’s Alien sequel. He can also be seen in plenty of other fan-favorite films, such as The Abyss, Tombstone, and The Rock.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has an October 2020 release date. We learned last week that actress Rosario Dawson would be tackling the role of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s padawan.

    1. Yeah he was all over the place for a while back then. Liked him in Aliens and Terminator but I remember there some kind of rumors that lead his decline in big movies back in the day. Something like money or difficult to work with. Don’t really know but I think it was around the time of T2. This could be a nice comeback for him.
