Intel Budget Gaming PC Build: Case

While all of the components we are selecting here today are what we would go with, and priced from vendors we trust, it is always a good idea to shop around as deals on these, or other good options, pop up from other reliable vendors all the time. With that said, let’s dive right into the next order of business.

  • Lacks Some Features Found On Higher End Offerings
  • Acrylic Window
  • Some People May Not Care For The Styling

In our previous build guides, we have enjoyed the flame fest that has arisen from the choice of cases. So, today, we try again to see if we can build a consensus about a chassis. Remember, this is a more budget-oriented build so our case selection has to reflect that. Thus, we have gone with the Fractal Design Focus G.

The Fractal Design Focus G is our choice today because it is reasonably flexible for its price point, is easy to work in with given the multiple cable run options, is not too bad to look at, and it is a good value. On the downside, the window is acrylic (which is cheap) and it does feel lightweight. That said, it is a decent build at such a low price point. So, the Fractal Design Focus G is an easy pick for this guide, even if some of you will disagree with the looks and my sanity.
