The Assassin’s Creed franchise is officially headed into the Viking era. Following a special live-streamed event with digital artist BossLogic (who was commissioned to draft a piece of Norse-inspired artwork from start to finish in front of thousands of viewers), Ubisoft revealed the title of its next game in the long-running series: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

There isn’t much in the way of story or gameplay details yet, but a Cinematic World Premiere Trailer that’s scheduled for tomorrow (April 30) at 8 AM PDT should provide early footage of the game. We can also presume that Valhalla will play a lot like Origins and Odyssey, pitting players against a huge, open-world environment that can be explored via ships and other means.

For the time being, Assassin’s Creed fans can enjoy the incredible painting that BossLogic ended up crafting for today’s event. Ubisoft has released a timelapse for those who missed out on his real-time artistry.
