Application Benchmarks 2
We are continuing our benchmarking with application benchmarks.
SiSoftware Sandra
We are using SiSoftware Sandra version 2020.5.30.41 for benchmarking. We are going to use the Processor Arithmetic test to test Dhrystone and Whetstone performance. This tests the arithmetic and floating-point performance of the CPUs. The results are in GFLOPS.
In this first graph we are looking at Dhrystone Aggregated integer results. The AMD Ryzen 3 3100 is doing very well over the Intel Core i3-9100F with a score of 187 GFLOPS versus 143 GFLOPS in integer performance. This is a large 30% increase in performance.
Floating point performance is even greater with the AMD Ryzen 3 3100 over the Core i3-9100F. The Ryzen 3 3100 is a huge 61% faster! In fact, the Ryzen 3 3100 is also 11% faster than the more expensive Intel Core i5-9400 CPU in float performance. The AMD Ryzen 3 3100 will do great in applications that stress this kind of workload.
wPrime
We are using wPrime version 2.10 and running the Run 1024M test with the appropriate threads for each CPU.
The AMD Ryzen 3 3100 is not only faster than the Intel Core i3-9100F by a large deal, but also the Intel Core i5-9400!
WinRar
We are using WinRar version 5.90 and running the built-in benchmark.
The AMD Ryzen 3 3100 is faster than the Intel Core i3-9100F and the Intel Core i5-9400.
