AMD is prepping three refreshes of its current, third-generation family of “Matisse” processors, the Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 5 3600XT. Perhaps unsurprisingly, alleged benchmarks spotted at CPU Monkey by a Chip Hell forum member (via Wccftech) have implied that they’ll square up nicely with Intel’s latest flagships, the Core i9-10900K and Core i9-10900KF. In fact, the revised “XT” version of the Ryzen 9 3900X manages to edge out blue team’s champion by a few points.

AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 93900XT processor scored 542 on the single-core Cinebench R20 test, besting the Intel Core i9-10900K and Core i9-10900KF, both of which earned 539 points. These are trailed closely by the Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT refreshes, both of which earned 531 points.

“In multi-threaded tests, AMD’s Matisse Refresh Desktop CPU lineup gives Intel’s 10th Gen lineup a big beating,” wrote Wccftech. “The Ryzen 9 3900XT scores 7479 points which is around 5% faster than Ryzen 9 3900X but 16% faster than the 10900K. The AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT scores 5297 which is on par with Intel’s Core i7-10700K and around 6% faster than the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Similarly, the 3600XT scores a total of 4007 points which is around 10% faster than the Intel Core i5-10600K and 8% faster than the Ryzen 5 3600X.”

The listings on CPU Monkey also seem to confirm the boost clocks of the Matisse refreshes. AMD’s Ryzen 9 3900XT can supposedly hit 4.6 GHz on all cores, while the Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT have an all-core turbo of 4.5 GHz.
