Mortal Shell is an upcoming action-styled RPG slated for a Q3 2020 release. It is being published by Playstack Ltd. and developed by newcomer Cold Symmetry. Mortal Shell will be the debut game for the new company.

Cold Symmetry, founded in 2017 by a core team of four, is best known for its debut title Mortal Shell. The studio is composed of AAA veterans with a strong passion for making games of their own. Their distributed development model allows them to work with the brightest and most talented people in the industry around the world.

Mortal Shell is a deep action-RPG that tests your sanity and resilience in a shattered world. Combat is strategic, deliberate, and unforgiving

  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56

As expected, the recommended specs do step things up a bit. A more powerful processor and GPU become evident. These specs also continue the trend with 8 GB cards becoming the new recommended norm. Interestingly, they specify having an SSD versus an HDD. The initial release will be a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store for $29.99. It will then be available on Steam in 2021. Some have already made favorable comparisons to Dark Souls since its trailer was released. Fans of the genre may want to take note of this one.
