The existence of Far Cry 6 isn’t much of a secret. In fact, we’re pretty sure that Ubisoft plans to unveil the shooter during its digital conference event on July 12 – but what actor will the villain be modeled after this time around?

According to a now-deleted article from Gamereactor, that could be veteran actor Giancarlo Esposito, who has a “huge” role in the game. Esposito has built up a reputation for playing memorable baddies, such as Breaking Bad’s Gus Fring and The Mandalorian’s Moff Gideon, so him tackling an antagonist role in a hit video game seems like a natural and believable step.

Esposito also teased the role in a recent interview with Collider, where he discussed the motion-capture technology that Far Cry 6 employs. Apparently, Ubisoft’s new system is so advanced that it required a “new style of acting.” We’re not sure what that means, but we’re sure to find out during July 12th’s Ubisoft Forward event.
