It is turning out to be an interesting week for Ubisoft as we edge nearer to its all-digital conference on July 12th. Some peculiar events have transpired involving multiple leaks. The first was 30 minutes of leaked gameplay footage for Assassins Creed Valhalla. The next leak involves a game that, until now, has not even had an official release announcement. Far Cry 6 briefly appeared on the Hong Kong PlayStation Network Store. It featured an ominous-looking Giancarlo Esposito along with a release date and cover art. Twitter users were quick to get screenshots of the store page before it was taken down.

As you can see from the English translation, PlayStation 4 owners will have an option to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version free of charge. Digital versions of each will be available for download. The game will feature either single-player offline play or an online two-player mode. Let us not forget Mr. Esposito. The actor, whose growing fame includes roles from Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian, is believed to be playing the game’s villain, dictator Anton Castillo. According to the now-removed store page, Far Cry 6 is slated to launch on February 18th, 2021.
