Rocksteady Studios – the developer best known for the Arkham Trilogy of Batman titles (i.e., Asylum, City, and Knight) – has confirmed that it’s working on a game based on DC Comics’s super-villain team, Suicide Squad. We don’t know a lot about the game yet (Rocksteady’s tweet suggests that it’ll share more during DC’s virtual FanDome event, which takes place on August 22), but gauging by a teaser poster that’s been released, Superman’s going to be one of the characters that the Suicide Squad will be taking down.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is currently shooting the sequel to 2016’s Suicide Squad film, which is simply called The Suicide Squad. It’ll be interesting to see whether Rocksteady’s game will coincide with the movie’s release, which is scheduled for August 6, 2021.
