If you’re a Chromebook user who’s been dreaming of playing demanding PC games on your weak, budget device, get ready to celebrate. NVIDIA has announced that its cloud-gaming service, GeForce NOW, is now available for ChromeOS, which means that any Chromebook user (with a good internet connection, at least) can play a huge catalog of games anywhere in the world.

“With today’s beta launch on ChromeOS, Chromebooks now wield the power to play PC games using GeForce NOW,” wrote NVIDIA. “Chromebook users join the millions on PC, Mac, SHIELD and Android mobile devices already playing their favorite games on our cloud gaming service with GeForce performance.”

NVIDIA has launched a special $24.95 offer for GeForce NOW, which grants six months of premium Founders access (priority servers, extended session length, ray tracing support), as well as a Hyper Scape Season One Battle Pass Token and exclusive Hyper Scape in-game content pack. Otherwise, prospective subscribers can test the waters with the free tier, which is limited to one-hour play sessions.
