We know there are some hardcore racing fans out there, and AMD does, too. As a partner of the Mercedes AMG Petronas racing team, it has been treating fans with some pretty spectacular renders using its AMD Radeon ProRender Engine. This latest, from a little over a week ago, comes from the AMD Twitter page.
We have a surprise, @MercedesAMGF1 fans!

To wish the team luck at the #SpanishGP, we partnered with @ThePixelary to illustrate the sleek, black W11 with our Radeon #ProRender rendering engine. What do you think of the new livery? pic.twitter.com/VSuzqXFURO
This render was to help promote the team for the Spanish GP F1 race that day. Well, congrats out to the team, as Lewis Hamilton did end up winning his fourth race this year. A quick tour of the Twitter page also shows how fans really loved the new render. For those wanting a closer look, here is the image in its original 4096 x 2160 resolution.

Here is another from AMD’s ProRender demo video in 1920 x 1080.
