From now until September 7, you can score a free copy of Tom Clancy’s The Division through Ubisoft’s website or game client, Uplay. Most Division fans have moved on to its sequel (which swaps the skyscrapers of New York with the monument-laden Washington, D.C.) already, but as we always like to say, free is free. It’s also a great starting point for those of you who’ve never tried an online-only shooter, where you’re always surrounded by like-minded folks running and shooting alongside you.

“Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City and, one by one, basic services fail,” reads the official game description. “In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, the agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.”

In related news, turn-based strategy game Into the Breach is also free on the Epic Games Store. “Control powerful mechs from the future to defeat an alien threat,” publisher Subset Games wrote. “Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game from the makers of FTL.”
