It’ll probably be a couple of weeks before the embargo for Zen 3 lifts, but a steady drip of benchmark results should keep AMD fans occupied until then. The latest have arrived courtesy of TUM_APISAK, who spotted Arithmetic and Multi-Media scores on SiSoftware’s Official Live Ranker for the Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X, and Ryzen 7 5800X.

Not surprisingly, each of these processors show marked performance increases over their Zen 2 predecessors. The Ryzen 9 5950X, for instance, boasts a 49.83-point (GOPS) increase over the Ryzen 9 3950X (611.94 vs. 562.11) in the Arithmetic benchmark.

The Ryzen 9 5950X also shows significant performance gains in the Multi-Media benchmark. While the Ryzen 9 3950X only manages to score 1,650.49, its Zen 3 successor hits 2,066.49 – a difference of 416 Mpix/s.

harukaze5719 provided a comparison between the generations, which you can check out below. AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X ($799), Ryzen 9 5900X ($549), and Ryzen 7 5800X (449) will be released on November 5.
