Those of you who are having a hard time deciding where to pre-order Cyberpunk 2077 may want to give GOG another look. In addition to a soundtrack, sourcebook, art booklet, and other goodies, the DRM-free retailer has announced that it’s also throwing in a 50-page digital comic called Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams. This is an exclusive bonus that won’t be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, or any other retailer.
“Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams is a 50-page digital comic about TASHA and MIREK, two scavengers living in Night City,” GOG wrote. “They’re stealing cyberware and spending money on parties and braindances.”
“TASHA is the loud one, she needs constant changes around her to breathe and she wants more street cred to become the most famous gangster in the city. MIREK is the calm one, he likes what he has and he doesn’t need much but he knows that Night City kills anyone who believes in the status quo.”
“You run, you fight, you change or you’ll die… One day MIREK finds a braindance about a happy family and sees a chance for himself. The problem is, MIREK’s dream doesn’t compute with TASHA’s dream of becoming a famous gangster…”
GOG points out that this is not a pre-order incentive, which means that each and every Cyberpunk 2077 purchase on GOG.com is eligible for the exclusive digital comic. That includes the physical versions.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19.
