ASUS’s GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards, which often use custom PCBs and feature improvements such as additional display ports and increased power, continue to be scarce months after release. With many users having difficulty sourcing their cards, ASUS has provided the following statement on its ROG UK Twitter page.

Hopefully, ASUS extends these sentiments to the U.S. as well. Out of all the AIBs, it seems to be the one having the most difficulty. Product tracker site NowInStock.net regularly shows models from EVGA, GIGABYTE, MSI, PNY, and ZOTAC coming in and out of stock, but ASUS can go weeks without updates.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
