TUM_APISAK has spotted new 4K and 1080p benchmarks for the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT on the Ashes of the Singularity database. While there are plenty of unknown variables here, the scores listed suggest that red team’s mid-tier Navi 21 GPU can definitely hold its own against NVIDIA’s Ampere flagships.
The AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT actually manages to score higher than both the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 in the Crazy_4k (DirectX 12) preset, attaining 9,200 points. NVIDIA’s options only managed 8,800 and 8,700, respectively.
The story is a little different in the Crazy_1080p preset, with the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT scoring less against the majority of GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 tests. This may be more indicative of overall performance, but red team’s offering still appears to be highly competitive.
AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6800 will be released this Wednesday, November 18. We’re hoping that the stock won’t be as bad as they say.
