LaptopVideo2Go’s StefanG3D has published details for a recent HP driver that seem to confirm various new GeForce RTX 30 Series models planned by NVIDIA. These include the oft-rumored GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, as well as a GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 3060 mobile GPU with Max-Q technology.

  • NVIDIA_DEV.1FBB = “NVIDIA Quadro T500”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2205 = “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2235 = “NVIDIA RTX A40”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2321 = “NVIDIA GA103”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2501 = “NVIDIA GA106”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2505 = “NVIDIA GA106”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2520 = “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q”
  • NVIDIA_DEV.2583 = “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050”

The device correlations stem from a PCI ID repository managed by T4CFantasy. According to VideoCardz, whose editors reached out to him, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has been accurately identified, which suggests that the graphics card is assuredly coming.

“[…] those names are 99% correct,” VideoCardz reported. “He is sure that 2205 ID belongs to the RTX 3080 Ti because he had already seen traces of this new SKU through the software that he wouldn’t name. The GA103 GPU with an ID of 2321 is relatively new and it should also be correct although more information may be required to confirm it.”

It’s too early to tell how the GeForce RTX 3050 might compare to the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, but there have already been plenty of rumors about what the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is packing. The titanium variant will supposedly boast 10,496 CUDA Cores (the same amount as the GeForce RTX 3090) but feature 20 GB of GDDR6X memory as opposed to 24 GB.
