It appears that AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 Series announcement wasn’t enough to sway Superman from green team’s lineup of RTX graphics cards. As a follow up to his gaming PC video from over the summer, Henry Cavill took to Instagram this afternoon to share that he has upgraded his rig with a shiny new GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition. It’s a definite upgrade from what the Man of Steel was previously using, an ASUS ROG GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

“My Christmas break is creeping ever closer and I have some projects to attend to,” Cavill commented. “The second one is definitely the Christmas tree….”

Cavill didn’t elaborate on what game he’ll be testing out first (Cyberpunk 2077? The Witcher 3?) or how he even managed to get his hands on one, but we’re guessing that his celebrity status helped with the acquisition process.

The official NVIDIA GeForce RTX account has also responded positively to the free product endorsement, although it was quickly shot down by a few critics who noted the GPU’s terrible supply.

At this point, we wouldn’t be surprised if NVIDIA made a deal with Cavill to officially sponsor a future lineup of RTX cards. Maybe his kitchen is even nicer than Jensen’s.
