Yesterday morning, Twitter user jovanmunja posted a list of titles that the Epic Games Store was planning to give away for its “15 Days of Free Games” holiday promotion. We weren’t sure at the time whether it was real or not, but with today’s freebie turning out to be correct (Defense Grid), it might be safe to assume that the list is genuine.
“This got sent to me a few hours ago, I wasn’t sure if it’s real or not,” jovanmunja tweeted. “But now, as New ‘n’ Tasty leaked to come out today, this list is most likely true. Still take it as a grain of salt. I’ll give you more info where it’s from.”
Here is the list of titles that the Epic Games Store will be giving out over the next few days. It includes some pretty significant hits, like Alien: Isolation, Metro 2033, Inside, Torchlight II, and Jurassic World Evolution.

As noted above, the Epic Games Store is offering free copies of Hidden Path Entertainment’s Defense Grid: The Awakening today. This is a game that revolves around defending yourself from alien attackers with the strategic placement of weapons and fortification towers.
“Defense Grid: The Awakening is the ultimate tower defense game that appeals to players of all skill levels,” a game description reads. “A horde of enemies is invading, and it’s up to the player to stop them by strategically building defensive towers around their base.”
A DLC pack with two new story lines and a total of 24 additional maps is also available for $4.99. It includes Defense Grid: The Awakening – You Monster DLC, Defense Grid: Containment DLC, Defense Grid: Resurgence Map Pack 1, Defense Grid: Resurgence Map Pack 2, Defense Grid: Resurgence Map Pack 3, and Defense Grid: Resurgence Map Pack 4.
