Diablo II: Resurrected breathes new life into Blizzard Entertainment’s acclaimed ARPG and its expansion, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, from beginning to end,” a description on the Blizzard Shop reads. “Return to fight for Sanctuary and discover the fate of the mysterious Dark Wanderer rebuilt in all-new 3D graphics, brand-new cinematics, remastered audio… and the same classic Diablo II gameplay you remember.”

Blizzard has also confirmed that Diablo II: Resurrected will include some level of mod support. The developer revealed the news in a series of tweets on the official Diablo Twitter account, which were written in the vein of the franchise’s popular, recurring scholar, Deckard Cain.

“Why you would want to manipulate this Hell?” the tweet reads. “Are you some sort of demon yourself? Woe! Yes, mod support will be here in Diablo II. I beg of you to go easy on a poor old man.”

According to Blizzard’s product requirements page, Diablo II: Resurrected will be released “on or before December 2021” for the PC platform via Battle.net. The remaster is also coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

This thing should run on any Skylake integrated graphics or better at 1080p!
