Microsoft is planning to sell Xbox Series X mini fridges. It all started with a contest on Twitter where users were asked to vote on the best of tweets, which came down to Skittles and Xbox. Reps from each company made promises on what they would do if they won. Skittles said it would revive its lime-flavored candy last seen in 2013, while Microsoft said it would sell an Xbox fridge that was being given to celebrities and press. The results came in, and Microsoft won by 1 percent.

Thanks to everyone who voted, this was down to the wire and thrilling to follow. Now that @Xbox won, we will move forward on our promise to make those Xbox Series X Mini Fridges. The first one off the line will be filled with games & headed to our friends @Skittles of course!

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
