343 Industries has launched the newest season for its highly popular collection of Halo titles, Halo: The Master Chief Collection. As the developer outlined in a lengthy blog post today, season 6 offers a ton of great content for both new and veteran players, such as 100 additional tiers of items ranging from new armor and back accessories to animated visors. Halo fans can also battle one another in a canceled map from Halo Online, Waterfall, as well as engage in a brand-new game variant called Escalation Slayer in Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4.
