Lucasfilm has revealed that legendary composer John Williams will be scoring the fifth installment of its popular archaeology adventure franchise, Indiana Jones. The studio confirmed Williams’ return in an article posted on its official website yesterday, which also disclosed that Fleabag and Solo: A Star Wars Story’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge would star in the film alongside franchise veteran Harrison Ford. Directed by Logan and 3:10 to Yuma’s James Mangold, Indiana Jones 5 will be released in theaters next summer on July 29, 2022.

“I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers,” said the film’s director James Mangold. “Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank, and John are all artistic heroes of mine. When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”
