A new 20-minute 4K gameplay video for Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance has been released by IGN. Developed by Tuque Games, it is a spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance. Up to four players can team up to take on evil monsters in a DnD-styled RPG brawler. A shorter gameplay trailer was previously released showcasing an epic boss battle with a beholder named Hagedorn. Players will get the opportunity to return to Icewind Dale on console or PC on June 22.

Dark Alliance brings to life the world of Dungeons & Dragons in an explosive action RPG filled with real-time combat and dynamic co-op. Frost giants and vengeful dragons roam unchecked through Icewind Dale as invading armies of evil grow stronger every day. Now four heroes must beat back the onslaught of creatures and defend against the dark.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
