Bethesda Game Studios’ next major RPG and first franchise in 25 years, Starfield, will be released exclusively for PC and Xbox consoles. This is according to VentureBeat games journalist Jeff Grubb, who also stated during a recent podcast that the heavily anticipated space epic would likely be available in 2022. The news isn’t all that surprising, being that Bethesda is now a first-party Xbox developer following Microsoft’s acquisition of ZeniMax Media and its big family of studios. A handful of images from a 2018 build of Starfield has also made its way onto forums and social media.
