ASUS has confirmed that it will be releasing new X570 motherboards for AMD Ryzen processors in Q3 that leverage passive cooling rather than noisy fans to keep chipset temperatures in check. The news isn’t too surprising, being that ASUS was one of the first manufacturers to release an X570 motherboard boasting passive cooling—the ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. ASUS hasn’t clarified whether its upcoming motherboards will use the new and revised X570S chipset, but the company’s Dark Hero effort would suggest that their cooling performance will be equally as good as traditional X570 motherboards with active cooling.

Have you been hoping for more motherboards, like our ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO? ASUS ROG has you covered with more motherboards coming in Q3 featuring a passively cooled chipset. Stay tuned! More details to come soon.
