ResetEra insider Navtra suggested on Friday that Square Enix would be announcing another PS5-exclusive Final Fantasy game at E3 2021. According to new rumors from Souls Hunt, the title is being developed by Team NINJA, the studio behind the popular Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, and Nioh franchises. Team NINJA’s Final Fantasy title will also supposedly be heavily inspired by FromSoftware’s Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls titles.

[…] this new Final Fantasy is going to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, but Souls Hunt speculates it will only be a temporary exclusive like it was for Nioh, so it will make its way onto other platforms at some point.
