AMD Announces Radeon RX 6000M Series Mobile Graphics

AMD has shared a press release confirming the specifications for its first RDNA 2-based mobile GPUs, the Radeon RX 6000M Series. They comprise the Radeon RX 6600M, Radeon RX 6700M, and Radeon RX 6800, the latter of which features 40 Compute Units/Ray Accelerators, 12 GB of GDDR6 memory, and game clock of 2.3 GHz. According to first-party benchmarks and demos shared by AMD, the Radeon RX 6800M is powerful enough to run popular games such as Battlefield V and Resident Evil Village at frame rates of over 120 FPS in 1440p at max settings. AMD’s Radeon RX 6800M will debut in ASUS’ new ROG STRIX G15 and G17 Advantage Edition gaming laptops, which are set for release soon and in Q3, respectively.
