G.SKILL has announced that its Trident Z Royal Elite DDR4 family is getting bigger with the addition of new high-speed, low-latency memory options. Leveraging Samsung B-die ICs and available in 8 GB and 16 GB kits, the new SKUs feature frequencies of up to 4,000 MHz and ultra-low latencies down to 14-14-14-34. G.SKILL’s new Trident Z Royal Elite DDR4 kits will be available via its worldwide distribution partners beginning this month.

G.SKILL is dedicated to developing high-speed, low-latency memory kits for high performance PC systems, and achieving an extremely low CL14 latency on high-speed dual-ranked memory modules is no easy feat. Created with Samsung B-die ICs, G.SKILL is launching the incredible DDR4-4000 CL14-15-15-35 memory specification with 16 GB modules for a 32 GB (16 GB x2) kit capacity.

  1. I would like to know if that 2x 16GB kit is dual rank or not… and if those timings come in something a little less… gold

I guess GSkill thinks rappers are the prime market for low latency RAM.
My guess would be for SE Asia / China crowd – those folks love all things gold contrary to the popular dutch belief.

  3. I don’t think I have anything that would benefit from either of these.

I have tried 3600 in most of my boxes and it was a no go, no matter what I tried.
Maybe if I had a 5000 series cpu.

Care less about looks these days, how much is it and is it available? That’s what I’m looking at

  4. Count me in the ‘that’s nice, but where are the 32GB modules’ crowd…

I wouldn’t mind these for a pure gaming box, but I don’t own any of those 😀
