A retailer has listed Sapphire’s new Radeon RX 6900 XT LC, which was pictured back in April and spotted in a custom prebuilt a couple of days ago. It features 16 GB memory at 18 Gbps—a bit suspect since most GDDR6 tops out at around 16 Gbps, but it would be possible with faster, pre-binned chips. The appearance also suggests this is an AMD reference design; this card could be the canceled Radeon 6900 XTX. Enthusiasts will likely hold off on this offering since it’s listed at well over $4,000. It will be interesting to see how the performance of this variant compares to other current top-tier GPUs.

The Sapphire RX 6900 XT LC (21308-02-10G) is currently listed in Brazilian stores with an estimated shipping date of June 30th. The current price definitely raises an eyebrow. The card is listed at 23,530 Brazilian Reals, which is around 4,660 USD.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
