Microsoft and 343 Industries have released the first multiplayer trailer for their next mainline Halo game, Halo Infinite. As expected, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode will see the return of many of the franchise’s classic game modes and weapons, but there will also be some new additions for helping less experienced Halo players better acclimate to combat. These include the Spartan Academy and Spartan Commander Laurette, who will teach maps, weapons, and equipment, as well as bot matches for warming up against real opponents. 343 Industries will be sharing more regarding Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode with a new video tomorrow, as well as a trailer breakdown this Thursday on Xbox Game Showcase: Extended. Halo Infinite will be available to play this holiday on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Cloud.

A major focus for our team is the content we’ll deliver after the game has shipped, and work has already started on our first year of content — and beyond. You saw some examples of that effort in our Multiplayer Trailer, with tons of Spartan customization options that will be part of our very first season, “Heroes of Reach,” including a super-sweet Yoroi Spartan. And in case you were wondering, the Yoroi armor is free and you can unlock it just by playing events in Season 1.
