Microsoft Flight Simulator Getting Free Top Gun: Maverick Expansion Later This Year

Paramount Pictures will release Tom Cruise’s long-awaited Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, later this year. To celebrate its release, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team will be releasing a free expansion pack coinciding with the film’s premiere that lets pilots “experience first-hand what it’s like to be a U.S. Navy Top Gun.” Microsoft Flight Simulator’s Top Gun: Maverick expansion will be available on November 19. The Xbox Series X|S versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator will also be available on July 27.

Microsoft Flight Simulator will be opening the skies to millions of new pilots on Xbox Series X|S on July 27, 2021 and will be available with Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
