Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for its upcoming martial arts blockbuster, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. In addition to various snippets of what appear to be exciting fight sequences, the trailer provides a small peek at how Marvel has translated one of its most infamous villains, the Mandarin (played by legendary Hong Kong actor Tony Leung), to the big screen and how his iconic ten rings will look and act in the film. The trailer also includes a surprise appearance by the Abomination, who was last seen in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring Simu Liu, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will be released in theaters on September 3.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings follows Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.
